This fantastic dog park is located on the Maryville greenway behind Midland Shopping Center. The park is convenient to both Maryville and Alcoa and is currently the only dog park in Blount County. Park features include separate areas for small and large dogs, with doggy drinking fountains located in both sections. Human restrooms and drinking fountains are not available. A small parking lot is located across the street from the Blount County Health Unit building at the intersection of McGee St. and McCammon Ave (exact address provided above). Additional parking is NOT permitted at the health building, but can be found at any of the parking garages in downtown Maryville.
This dog park is located inside Victor Ashe Park and is Knoxville’s first ever dog park. Although it does not offer separate sections for small and large dogs, there is some puppy playground equipment on site, such as tunnels and hill structures.
