These farms offer a variety of pick-your-own fruits and vegetables including strawberries, blueberries, apples, grapes, peaches and more. Locations include Knoxville, Maryville, and the Smoky Mountains.
Not only are farm visits a blast, they also offer a great opportunity to teach kids about healthy eating habits. We have several learning activities that will make the perfect addition to your healthy farm fun. Cider Making Demonstrations: The farm typically hosts cider making demonstrations in the month of November. Cider demonstrations may be temporarily suspended for the 2017 season, but the farm will know for sure in October.
Wheeler’s claim to fame is its fresh pressed apple cider and u-pick apple orchard. They also sell a variety of apples, apple products, and gifts in their farm store.
