This Oak Ridge garden features over 2,500 plants and flowers. This is a research garden that facilitates forestry, wildlife and ecological research programs. It is free to the public.
The children’s museum features a variety of educational classes and hands-on exhibits. Exhibits include a rain forest room, model trains, waterworks, a bird room, doll house, historical toys, nature room, Native American history and much more! The museum also has a birthday party room that can be rented for private events.
In addition to daily educational fun and birthday parties, the museum offers STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) based spring and summer day camps. The camps allow kids to experience hands-on learning in a variety of themes.
General Zoo Information – This fun family-friendly zoo features a variety of amazing animals, including lions, tigers, elephants, gorillas, and much more! Educational programs take place at varying times throughout the day. If you are brave enough, you can even feed the giraffes. There is a splash pad on-site for the kiddos and the the entire zoo is stroller accessible.
Zoo Camp – In the summer, the zoo offers week long day camps that focus on animal education and give kids a behind the scenes look at zoo life!
This comprehensive art studio offers classes in drawing, painting, print making, clay, and jewelry making. Classes are available for both children and adults.

Oak Ridge Junior Playhouse is pleased to offer young people the opportunity to learn about theater while putting together a workshop showcase production for family and friends at the conclusion of the camp. This interactive camp is for rising 3rd graders through rising high school seniors.

This pottery studio teaches you how to create one of a kind works of art from scratch. Methods including sculpting and wheel throwing. In addition to a variety of classes, this studio offers birthday parties, wine and clay nights, and team building experiences. This facility also offers Raku firing.

This full indoor rock climbing gym offers a variety of experiences, including bouldering and top rope climbing. There are rock walls for all ages and abilities. Private parties are available for birthdays, team building and much more!
This wonderful botanical garden is FREE to the public and is filled with seasonal flowers and foliage throughout the year. Nature based educational programs are also available for children and adults throughout the year. This facility also hosts summer camp programs.
This kid-friendly festival features storytelling, arts, crafts, music, science exploration, food and more!
Admission to this festival includes a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited samples of various flavors of beer and bourbon. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day. $35/general admission, $49/VIP admission
