4-H offers summer camps for kids in grades 4 – 12. Activities and educational topics include kayaking, swimming, wildlife, archery, fishing, hiking, ecology, photography, crafts, canoeing, talent shows, drama, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, low ropes, cookouts, and more!
This studio offers a variety of art options including, paint your own pottery, canvas painting, and glass fusion. Projects are available for both children and adults. Birthday parties are available.
This fabulous farm and orchard offers a variety of pick-your-own crops throughout the year including apples, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, plums, pumpkins, and variety of winter squash.
Fall Fun: In addition to pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, this farm also offers a hay ride. For anyone wanting a less commercialized pumpkin picking experience, this farm will be wonderful!

Although they do have a small Jr. Pumpkin Patch, the star of this farm is their large corn maze. They also have a variety of other attractions including jumping pillow, gem mining, petting zoo and more!
This self-proclaimed screampark is set on the actual Jeremiah Lexer plantation and boasts 5 scary attractions! Lexer is Tennessee’s most notorious serial killer and, according to Frightmare Manor, you may be able to actually glimpse his spirit on the property. This is a seasonal attraction.
This popular local orchard sells its apples at its restaurant and farm store. The restaurant features fresh apple cider, traditional county cookin’, and a variety of apple baked goods, including their famous fried pies. Yum!
This adventure packed overnight camp offers 1, 2, 3, and 4 week options. Activities include hiking, caving, rappelling, rock climbing, challenge courses, rafting, tubing, horseback riding, canoe trips, backpacking expeditions and more! Programs are available for kids from age 10-18.
This amazing cider press creates both traditional cider and adult ciders. The press is located at Foxfire Mountain, which boasts a wide variety of outdoor adventures including zip lining, hiking, and more!
Cider Making Demonstrations: The facility currently offers adult cider tours to showcase how the ciders are made (must be 21 and up to take the tour). They plan to add family-friendly cider making demonstrations, for traditional non-alcoholic cider, in the future. Check back soon!
This small orchard sells apples and a variety of apple products, including cider, at its farm store.
Claiming to be the region’s largest indoor aquatic attraction, this water park resort boasts family-friendly accommodations as well as an expansive indoor water park. You do not have to be staying at the resort to enjoy the park. Day and week passes can be purchased separately.
This center features a large swimming pool as well as a feature filled splash pad. Daily and 25 visit passes can be purchased for a nominal fee.
This brand new family resort and indoor water park may take over as largest indoor park, when it opens in 2017.
