Strength and Balance Workshop- 6 Weeks
Join Erik Andelman with South Knox Healing Arts for a 6 week course featuring bodyweight workouts combining Yoga, calisthenics, flexibility training and traditional exercise forms from around the world. Learn how to increase stability, build strength, and prevent injury. If you’re trying to get back into shape, or coming back from an injury, or sore from overuse, this workshop will help restore your body.
Sessions held outside in nice weather and indoors for rain or cold. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome!
In this class learn how to use your own body weight to increase your core strength and stability. Experience how increasing strength of under utilized muscle groups increase flexibility. Many movements require students to sit or lay on the floor, if you have difficulty with getting up from the floor this class can be helpful.
Join us for an hour every Wednesday evening from September 20th – October 25th. Class starts @ 6 pm. Meet at the Pavillion near the Miller building.
$100 per student for 6 week course
$20 per drop-in student
